Adaptt Rochester

We are a small, start up - women and minority led, 501c3 organization. Our goal is to help women and children find and achieve their own unique and unlimited purpose. We have seen how cyclical and generational poverty continues to be a growing condition in the Greater Rochester area, despite it being a resource rich community. We feel that by building a foundation, providing not only materials, but education, guidance, and reasonable accountability - we can help to create a more equitable and sustainable future for our community. We are starting off with two impactful initiatives. Adaptt 100 Kids, where we will provide a bed, pillow, bedding, additional linens, and clean, well-fitting undergarments to children who have been recently housed. This initiative will help children who have gone through the trauma of being unhoused, build confidence, be able to get a better night's sleep, and feel more balanced within their peer group. Our second, vital initiative is, Complete Family Care. This initiative goes hand-in-hand with Adaptt 100 kids. We will provide families with household necessities, resume writing, skill building opportunities, budgeting workshops, nutrition workshops, and referrals to necessary additional services with follow-up case management.
