Bivona Child Advocacy Center

Bivona Child Advocacy Center is a safe, welcoming place where children who have endured the trauma of physical and sexual abuse can begin their journey of healing. At Bivona, we provide critical, comprehensive services in a safe, child-friendly environment together under one roof. Our streamlined approach minimizes trauma to children, allowing them to heal. Whenever possible, children tell their story only once to a highly-trained member of our Multidisciplinary Team. All children are connected with a family advocate, and a child may also receive a medical examination and meet with a mental health professional. Our collaborative model surrounds children and families with support, and is constantly evolving to better meet the needs of each child who comes through our door. Our growing team brings together professionals from over 20 partner agencies, with representation from various disciplines. We work together to protect, evaluate and counsel children who experience abuse and neglect. In 2017, Bivona Child Advocacy Center evaluated nearly 2,000 children and our team of specialists have evaluated over 20,000 children since Bivona opened its doors in 2004.
