The holiday season should be a time of joy for everyone. That's why every year, East House partners with supporters like you to make the holidays brighter for individuals in recovery from mental health and substance use disorders. A gift to East House this ROC the Day directly supports our holiday programming, including purchasing gifts to children of East House clients and delivering hot holidays meals to our residential locations. Last year alone we distributed over 250 gifts and over 260 holiday meals thanks to the support of our donors. For many individuals in recovery, the holiday season can be especially emotionally or financially difficult. 95% of East House clients live at or below the federal poverty level and do not have the financial means to purchase special meals or gifts for their families during the holidays. Being able to give one's child or grandchild a holiday gift isn't just a nice way to celebrate, it's a real opportunity to strengthen relationships and create joyful memories. Your donation of $50 will provide a gift for one child or a donation of $150 will provide a holiday gift basket with all of the fixings for a family dinner. PLUS - thanks to the generosity of the East House Boards of Directors, your gift will be doubled through a generous matching gift up to $12,200! For more than 2 decades, we've helped provide life-changing memories during the holidays. With all of the challenges that we face this season, your gift helps make the season brighter for hundreds of families in recovery. Thank you for your consideration! Through an integration of supportive housing and recovery services, East House treats the whole person and helps move individuals from illness to health.
