Flower City Outreach mobilizes churches into service so that the city might see Jesus! Since 2015, FCO has operated Flower City Work Camp (est. 1985). FCO is also in the process of ministry expansion, launching new ministry initiatives in Rochester and beyond. God has used Flower City Outreach to bless communities throughout the Greater Rochester Area by providing both youth and adults opportunities to serve, to bless others and to grow in their relationships with each other and with God. In 2020, FCO launched FCWC Weekend Edition, a series of one-day service opportunities focused on helping homeowners tackle improvement projects. In 2022, FCO launched a youth mentorship program called Link that places screened and trained mentors into the lives of young men ages 8-18 in the city. FCO is also exploring a School/Church Partnership program to benefit schools in the city and is investing in the launch of Rose City Work Camp, a sister camp to FCWC based in Portland, Oregon. Lastly, FCO works with an affiliate ministry partner, The Hub 585 and it's CarePortal ministry, focused on meeting the needs of families in danger of needing foster care assistance.
