The Gates Historical Society leads in providing information on Gates history and in preserving and showcasing the Hinchey Homestead as a model historic site through programs, events, exhibits, tours and related services to its members and the general public. We desire to share the homestead with as many people as possible and are working to make the Hinchey Homestead handicap accessible so that everyone can come and enjoy the site. Donated funds will go toward making the Hinchey House handicapped accessible.
