We work locally in the Genesee River watershed with landowners to protect the most important natural resources in the Genesee Valley. Our nature preserves provide miles of hiking and riding trails for the public to use. We also provide 500 acres of lands for educational uses to local schools for field trips and research projects. In the past 30 years, we have partnered with private landowners to ensure their important properties are protected from harmful development.
Currently we protect over 20,000 acres of lands and are working actively on protecting another 8,000 acres in the coming years.
Your support will help us pursue our 5th nature preserve as we begin our 30th year doing local conservation work and will help us work toward reaching 30,000 protected acres in the coming years!
We focus on: The Environment, Education
