Perinton Ambulance

Making house calls since 1965, Perinton Ambulance is a critical health resource dedicated to providing exceptional medical services delivered by a highly skilled, educated, and professional staff. In 2022, our EMTs and Paramedics responded to nearly 6,000 calls for service: an average of more than 16 per day! We also educate the community on our role in the response, treatment, and transport of the sick and injured as well as the prevention of injury and illness. Our community education programs have trained more than 1,000 people in CPR, First Aid, and Stop the Bleed in 2023 alone, and prevention seminars are well-attended each month. The community is also invited to use our loan closet for canes, crutches, walkers, and wheelchairs. We do this in a fiscally responsible manner as an integral part of the community. While we do bill for our services, more than 50% of medical billings must be written off due to government insurance programs. We rely on supporters like you to help us bridge a funding gap of more than $525,000 dollars each year! Funds raised through donations may be used to offset the purchase of medical supplies, replace training equipment, or offset the cost of repairing and replacing our ambulances.
