The Strong National Museum of Play

The Strong is an exciting, hands-on museum where children and adults alike can explore, learn, and play! Recognized as one of the nation's leading history museums and one of the best museums of any type for families and children, The Strong features more than 150,000 square feet of dynamic, hands-on exhibits; the world's largest and most comprehensive collection of toys, dolls, and games; and a wide range of fun-filled programs and activities. As the largest cultural attraction in Rochester and the largest year-round family attraction in all of Western New York, The Strong contributes greatly to the quality of life and economic vitality of our community. Each year, the museum welcomes more than half a million guests from Greater Rochester and across the state, nation, and world, and serves more than 16,000 students from communities throughout our region. Through the support of our generous donors, The Strong also offers a wide range of community outreach programs that make it possible for thousands of foster families and socioeconomically disadvantaged children and adults to explore the museum. Funds raised during ROC the Day 2023 will benefit The Strong’s educational mission and community outreach programs, such as our Nurse and Family Partnership, SNAP discount admission program, Sensory Friendly Sundays, and much more. Thank you for your support of The Strong!
