More than 4,000 people a year are served with free boxes of food on a monthly basis. These boxes provide enough food to feed the family 3 meals a day for 3 days at an absolute minimum. Usually there is more.
Hours for food boxes are Tuesday thru Friday 10 a.m. to noon. You can also get food Saturdays 10am -noon by appointment. Over half the people served are children, senior citizens, or disabled.
We also offer free Hot lunches that are available for take-out Tuesday through Friday at 11:30 12:30 pm- downstairs in our facility.
Our Common Cents Thrift Shoppe is located on the main floor of our building.
In its orderly boutique-like atmosphere we distribute most items of quality recycled clothing for a flat donation of $2.00 per item. Our most expensive items are winter coats at $3.75.
All the money from the Common Cents goes to help support the Food programs.
